Hey friends! I realize it has been a hot second since I left a post on here.. so.. the big question..

Where has The Last Mom been and what is going on with us now!?

Honestly, there has been so much that has happened in the last year, and I don’t think I was ready to talk about it publicly in this space so I walked away from this page for a little while.  Time kind of slipped by after that.. oops!

I guess I’ll give a quick little recap on the last year + of our life, and then some things I will be writing about over the next week or so to share a little more in depth!

• Our family was struggling with a new severe ADHD diagnosis with our oldest and the transition to medication and what that meant for his school work. We chose to let the oldest kids go back to public school to test his medicine and it went so well!
• Our family lost my Father-In-Law to cancer on May 28, 2019.. this is what made it hard to keep blogging. I didn’t feel like I had anything worthy of sharing at that time.
• We went debt free following the Dave Ramsey program
• My husband received orders to become an instructor at Fort Benning, GA
• We bought our first house (in Alabama).. blog coming on that!
• My husband was gone for 8 weeks at a school for his new rank, in the middle of purchasing our home/moving in.
• We had to say goodbye to our faithful fur friend, Beauty..
• Sam finally came home and we headed to Disney 2 days later with our whole family for the first time (more on that!) and came home to celebrate Christmas!
• We welcomed a new pup into our home
• We started making home improvements to scratch the new home owner itch (lots to come on that! eek!)
• We became a school from home family again thanks to a global pandemic.. finishing out the year with 2 pre-k babes, 1st grade and 2nd grade!
• We brought ANOTHER pup into the house… making a total of 5! haha! yes.. i know.. i know!

So I realize a lot of this has been shared on my personal Facebook page, but for those of you not following along over there, I’ll go deeper into some of these things in the next few days! Here are some of my favorite pictures from the last year..  talk to you soon <3
